Final concert of the 4th Edition of the International Composition Competition Appassionato Ensemble at Villa Olmo

Sunday, June 27, at 6.30 p.m. the final concert of the 4th Edition of the International Composition Competition Appassionato Ensemble will take place, framed by the grand exhibit Metamporphosis, set up and curated by Fondazione Bortolato-Totaro-Sponga and the Associazione Arte&Arte – Miniartextil Como.
In an interlacement of music and fibre art, it will be possible to listen to the five competition’s finalists scores, that will be performed in front of the international jury composed by Alessandro Solbiati (Italy, president), Sofia Avramidou (Greece), Mehdi Khayami (Iran) and Umberto Pedraglio (Italy, Artistic Director). At the end of the concert the jury will get together to choose the winner, that will then be proclaimed and awarded the prize.

- “7 etudes in variation form” for violin, cello and piano, by Luca Vago (Italy).
- “Andante luminoso I” for flute, violin and cello, by Sunghyun Lee (South Korea);
- “Don’t be rude, kids” for violin, cello and piano, by Hyeokjae Kim (South Korea – Austria);
- “If we had not get divided” for flute, violin and cello, by Akin Kilis (Turchia)
- “A raid on the inarticulate” for flute, clarinet, violin, cello and piano, by Francesco Mariotti (Italy);

To find your seat at the concert, please purchase the tickets online stating the concert date and send an email to info@polifonie.it, listing name and surname of the participant(s) and attaching the payment receipt. Please be at the concert venue half an hour before the start with the receipt (at the entrance you'll be asked for the name and surname with which you booked via email). You'll be part of a bookings list requested by anti-Covid rules.
